Cornwood Cats Cattery – Plymouth

Cornwood Cats Ltd (established in 1998) is a fully licensed insured family-run cattery, recommended by the local veterinary practices. We are located in the beautiful surroundings of Dartmoor National Park, just minutes from Ivybridge (Plymouth).

Cornwood Cats Cattery - PlymouthCornwood Cats is part of West Rook Farm and since we live on-site, there is always someone on-hand 24 hours a day.

Your cat’s accomodation

Situated in a light, modern building away from the kennels, our cattery offers a warm and comfortable home-from-home for your cat.

All cats enjoy their own spacious pen, although pens are large enough for family boarding if required. All pens are heated and include indoor sleeping quarters and play area for year-round boarding. Each pen also includes an exercise area.

Warm bedding is included, you may wish to bring any of your cat’s favourite toys.

Hygiene is one of our primary concerns and we clean all pens thoroughly every day.

Cornwood Cats Cattery - PlymouthDaily activities

Cats are fed twice a day. Our experienced team will ensure your cat’s stay is as comfortable as possible. We regularly check on all cats and spend plenty of time with them, giving them lots of strokes and cuddle, as well as playing music to help them feel at home.

If your cat has any special requirements that will make their stay more comfortable, do let us know.

What to bring

Please bring your cat’s vaccination record with you. For the well-being of all our cats, it’s vital that your cat is up to date with all vaccinations. Kittens are welcome to stay, as long as they have received their vaccinations.

We stock a range of cat food, although we are more than happy for you to bring your own if you prefer. If you have any special requirements for your cat (e.g. a particular diet, medication or supplements), do let us know.
